The SBI Research Training Programme
The Stockholm Brain Institute Research School is a Vinnova funded research school that offers post graduate student education (PhD-training) in cognitive and computational neuroscience at an international top level.
The SBI Research School offers integrated research education in cognitive and computational neuroscience. The education is directed towards international and industrial collaboration.
Aims of the research school:
1. To graduate PhD-students in one of the three research fields of SBI; Neuroscience, Experimental Psychology or Computational Neuroscience.
2. To provide the PhD-students with basic knowledge in the two other SBI research fields, which they do not have as their main research field.
3. To provide the PhD-students with qualified knowledge in entrepreneurship.
As a member of the SBI research school, some of the resources and benefits available are:
- Mobility support
- Lunch with invited speakers from the SBI Lectures
- Complementary attendance at the annual SBI Junior Faculty Winter Conference
- Organised day visits to industries within the scope of SBI research areas
- Industry Internships
- Promotion of co-supervision from industry
- Promotion and support for joint PhD/Postdoc positions
